A little bit of Asian flavors. Stick to the recipe to not make it oversweet.
Ingredients:
6 boneless skinless chicken breast
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
1 teaspoon ginger
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
Cut the chicken breast into 1 inch strips.
In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6 minutes until no more pink.
In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, corn starch, red pepper flakes and ginger together.
Whisk until no corn starch lumps appear. Then pour the sauce mixture over the chicken into the frying pan.
Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, and then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for about 10 minutes until the chicken starts to soak up the sauce.
